I agree about the pots, being larger doesn't mean better. Aria guitars is thrilled to announce a debut of 714-MK2 Fullerton series. The research I did indicated the pups would at least be Duncan Designed HB103s, these are definitely not even that good which says something about how bad they are. It's not as red as the pictures show, more of a brown\red but it's hard to photograph and get the brown aspects. Yes, it is a nice looking axe and gets better looking every time I see it. The primary aspect of the PE series I really like is the thin contoured body with the heel-less neck joint, that and the price are what attracted me to the SPL. Aria guitars manufactured in the 1980s typically only used the first digit of the serial number to denote the date. I had no illusions the SPL would be an R60 or R80, those are very very nice guitars, I only wish I could afford one. ![]()
