This download updates the SPARK Science Learning System without affecting preloaded or user saved SPARKlabs. Note: GLX firmware can also be updated using SPARKvue or PASCO Capstone Press to open the Files menu and select Upgrade GLX Firmware. Updating from a USB Flash Drive - Connect the USB flash drive containing the update to the GLX’s USB port. When DataStudio detects a GLX running an older firmware version, it will give the option of upgrading that GLX. ![]() Updating from a Computer - Once the update is on your computer, connect the GLX to the USB port and run DataStudio. Transfer stored files to your computer before upgrading the GLX. Installing updates may delete files saved in the RAM and Flash folders of the GLX. To check the version of firmware currently installed on your GLX, open the Settings screen and press F4. Have your license key(s) available to enter the first time you run DataStudio, or click the lite/demo buttons if you have not purchased a DataStudio or WAVEPORT license. You can enter a purchased license key (choose "Change License Key" from the DataStudio "Help" menu) to permanently enable the full feature set. After 90 days, DataStudio will continue to work with the reduced "Lite" feature set. ![]() DataStudio Lite requires no license key and offers complete access to the full DataStudio feature set for 90 days after installation. ![]()
